About

James Rowland is a freelance graphic designer and photographer, working with a wide range of clients. He has been interested in photography since the age of sixteen, but with the advent of digital photography it has allowed him to take the artform more seriously.

He combines his skills as a graphic designer with those in photography to produce a portfolio of imaginative and striking images developing a unique style for his floral pictures in particular.

Having owned Nikon cameras for the last eighteen years or so, all James' pictures are taken on Nikon D2x and D3 cameras using professional lenses.

His specialist areas in photography are fine art, commercial, digital art, product photography, retouching and photo restoration. He continues to live and work from his home in Kent and always enjoys taking more pictures of flowers, travel and landscape shots to evolve his portfolio further.

A recent addition to his services are training days, or half days. These include aspects of computer time (ie Photoshop, RAW, retouching, workflow etc), as well as advice out in the field, tailor made to individuals requirements. Please phone for more details.
